Discover Children’s Story Centre, Friday 25 to Monday 28 March 2016
It’s your last chance to catch the Michael Rosen exhibition at Discover before it closes after Easter. This weekend the Story Builders will be exploring the story of Little Rabbit Foo Foo. Chesterton’s Easter Egg Hunt, Cutty Sark, Friday 25 to Monday 28 March 2016
Visitors to the Cutty Sark this weekend can hunt for eggs that the ship’s chickens have been laying in some strange places. Admission to the Cutty Sark costs £12.15 (adult), £6.30 (child), free for under 5s. More details here

Illustrator Bridget Marzo will teach you how to draw animal portraits and abstract artworks at a free family workshop this weekend at Tate Britain. The activities are inspired by Bridget’s characters Tiz the cat and Ott the donkey. The workshop will be followed by a book signing. Free. More details here

Horniman Easter Fair, Horniman Museum & Gardens, 10.30am to 4.30pm, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 March 2016
The Horniman’s annual Easter celebrations include a garden trail (£1), Easter arts and crafts, a designer/maker market, a Farmers’ Market (Saturday) and live music (Sunday). See if you can spot the Easter bunny parading through the gardens. Free. More details here

Giant Duck Hunt, London Wetland Centre, until 10 April 2016
Visit WWT London Wetland Centre over the Easter holidays and you can see baby birds as well as joining an Easter trail of giant ducks. There are chocolate prizes for successful searchers. Admission costs £11.91 (adults), £6.55 (children aged 4 to 16). Easter trail costs £1. More details here

An Easter Train will depart King’s Boulevard on Saturday bound for Granary Square where you’ll meet giant bunnies armed with baskets of treats. You can also decorate eggs, go on an egg or treasure hunt and visit the Skip Garden and its chickens. Free. More details here

Head to Gabriel’s Wharf on the Southbank this weekend for a variety of Easter activities. Children can decorate an Easter egg and matching basket before heading off on a hunt to find the Easter eggs hidden throughout the Wharf. Free. More details here
Oxford v. Cambridge Goat Race, Spitalfields City Farm, Sunday 27 March 2016
Coinciding with the Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race, two goats (one representing Oxford and one representing Cambridge) go head to head around the yard at Spitalfields City Farm. There will also be live music, food and more. All proceeds go to the farm. Tickets are available here (advance only) and cost £13 per adult, under 12s free.
