It’s all about festivals this weekend with celebrations of Dragon Boats, the City, outdoor dance and Crystal Palace…

London Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival, London Regatta Centre, 11.30am to 6pm Sunday 30 June 2013

On Sunday the annual Dragon Boat Festival organised by the London Chinatown Lions Club returns to the London Regatta Centre in Docklands. Alongside the charity dragon boat racing, there will be plenty of chances to soak up some Chinese culture with live entertainment, attractions and family activities throughout the day. Free. City of London Festival, various venues, until 26 July 2013

The City of London Festival continues this weekend with free events across the Square Mile. The Festival programme includes live music, visual arts, exhibitions, walks and more, with events taking place in various venues designed to bring the City’s key buildings and outdoor spaces to life. Dancing City, Canary Wharf, 1pm to 5pm Saturday 29 June 2013

The Greenwich and Docklands International Festival draws to a close this weekend. Canary Wharf’s open spaces play host to the festival’s annual outdoor dance extravaganza on Saturday. See Sufi whirling dervish choreography, urban moves from France, contemporary dance from Candoco, a rare outdoor performance from English National Ballet and hundreds of talented young dancers and youth dance companies. Crystal Palace Overground Festival, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June 2013

The Crystal Palace Overground Festival takes place this weekend. There’s a packed programme with events, activities, food and drink, a food market and live music to be found in Westow Park and around the Triangle.
