Malaysia Fest, Trafalgar Square, 12pm to 10pm, Saturday 24 September 2016

Experience the authentic tastes of Malaysia at the Mayor of London’s annual Malaysia Fest in Trafalgar Square this weekend. Sample traditional dishes and find out how to create them at home at the Cooking Demonstration. There will also be stalls, Malaysian music and dance. Free. More details here

Kensington Gardens Harvest Festival, 11am to 4pm, Sunday 25th Sep 2016

The Allotment in Kensington Gardens is holding its harvest festival this weekend. Activities will include a visit from Millers Ark Petting Farm, an opportunity to meet the Shire Horses that work across the Royal Parks, a chance to make some apple bird feeders with the RSPB, and the opportunity to take part in the big dig of the potato crop. Pearly Kings and Queens Harvest Festival at Guildhall Yard, from 1.30pm, Sunday 25 September 2016

London’s Pearly Kings and Queens will be gathering on Sunday for their annual harvest festival. Expect traditional entertainment in front of Guildhall from 1.30pm, before a parade through the streets to St Mary Le Bow Church for a service of thanksgiving at 3pm. There will be Morris dancing, maypole dancing, marching bands, drummers and more – all raising money for charity. Free. More details here

London Transport Museum Depot Open Weekend, 11am to 5pm, Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September 2016

Join the London Transport Museum for an Open Weekend at their Acton Depot. There will be talks, arts & crafts, workshops, tours, scavenger hunts and family activities exploring the creation, evolution and impact of the famous London Underground roundel logo. Climb aboard vintage vehicles, ride the miniature railway, see some performance parkour, visit the soft play and enjoy some street food on the picnic green. Tickets cost £10 (adults), £8 (concessions), under 18s go free. More details here

Japan Matsuri Festival, Trafalgar Square, 10am to 8pm, Sunday 25 September 2016

Make your way to Trafalgar Square on Sunday for the best Japanese cuisine, music, culture and dance at the Mayor of London’s annual Japan Matsuri festival. There will be deer dancing, magicians, drummers, traditional games, Japanese crafts, martial arts, karaoke and more. Free. More details here

SoLo Craft Fair, Forest Hill Fashion Week, 11am to 6pm, Saturday 24 September 2016

SoLo Craft fair is collaborating with Forest Hill Fashion Week on Saturday to bring vintage fashion traders and designer makers together. There will also be musicians, workshops and children’s crafts and activities. Free. More details here
