Foundling Museum, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 October 2016

The Foundling Museum has free children’s workshops this weekend as part of the Get Creative Family Arts Festival. Artist Shelly Wain will be helping children to recreate art work with fruit and vegetables on Saturday. On Sunday, artist Isobel Manning will show you how to create a food and science-inspired collaborative drawing for The Big Draw. Free for children and up to two accompanying adults. Let’s Fly, Little Angel Theatre, until 20 November 2016

Little Angel Theatre’s show “Let’s Fly” lets you imagine what your home would look like when you’re as high as the birds and the aeroplanes. Go on an adventure with Emily and soar over cities, float above oceans and glide across mountains. Recommended for age 2 to 6. Tickets cost £10 (adults) and £8 (children aged 1 to 15). Apple Day, Kentish Town Farm, 1pm to 4pm, Sunday 23 October 2016

Kentish Town City Farm is holding a fundraiser on Sunday with apple tasting, apple bobbing and the longest apple peel contest. There will also be pony rides, arts and crafts, a magic show, BBQ, cakes, face-painting, music, games and more. More details here

Dinosaurs: Monster Families, Horniman Museum, until 30 October 2016

It’s your last chance this week to catch the Horniman Museum’s family-friendly interactive exhibition before it closes at the end of half term. Find out how dinosaurs looked after their eggs, nests and babies, dig in the discovery pit, touch a real dinosaur leg bone and come face-to-face with T-Rex’s relative.
