Little Screen, Vue and Showcase Cinemas, 10.30am, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November 2016

Following its launch last month, Pinewood Live is presenting another round of Little Screen at Vue and Showcase cinemas this weekend. Little Screen is an interactive cinema experience aimed at introducing 3 to 6 year olds to the big screen.  Each 70 minute show features a selection of well-loved children’s shows with interactive sections presented by the host Marty. This weekend catch Masha and the Bear, Lily’s Driftwood Bay, Miffy’s Adventures, Octonauts and Paw Patrol – singing and dancing along is encouraged. Tickets cost £2.99. Hamleys Toy Parade, from 10.30am, Sunday 20 November 2016

Regent Street will be traffic-free on Sunday to welcome the Hamleys Toy Parade. The Parade will stretch for a mile and a half and will feature a huge range of well-known toys and TV characters as well as Father Christmas. Entertainment will take place throughout the day on a stage outside Hamleys and there will be free family activities at dedicated zones along Regent Street. Free. More details here

Small World: Keats House Family Day, 1pm to 4pm, Sunday 20 November

Enjoy the monthly Keats House family day where you can make a shadow puppet theatre. Free. More details here

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, until 2 January 2017

This year’s Winter Wonderland opens this weekend. There’s lots to do from rides to theatre, ice skating to Christmas markets, Santa’s Grotto to the circus. Entry to Winter Wonderland is free but many attractions require pre-booked tickets. More details here

Tate Modern Christmas Market, until 23 December 2012

The Tate Modern’s Christmas Market is also back this year with the addition of a Victorian Carousel. Free. More details here
