Alice in Wonderland, British Library, until Sunday 17 April 2016

The British Library’s Alice in Wonderland exhibition draws to a close this weekend. See Lewis Carroll’s original manuscript with hand-drawn illustrations, alongside editions by Mervyn Peake, Ralph Steadman, Leonard Weisgard, Arthur Rackham, Salvador Dali and others. Free. More details here

This is a Voice, Welcome Collection, until 31 July 2016

The Welcome Collection’s new, free exhibition looks at the relationship between voice and identity. Featuring works by artists, vocalists, paintings, manuscripts, medical illustrations and ethnographic objects, the exhibition examines all aspects of the voice including non-verbal forms of communication. Classic Car Boot Sale, King’s Cross, 16 and 17 April 2016

Car aficionados should head to King’s Cross this weekend for the Classic Car Boot Sale. Buy vintage goods from the boots of vintage vehicles, see classic cars, eat street food, watch street theatre and catch a live music performance or two. Traders will be set up in Kings Cross St Pancras Square, along Kings Boulevard, through Granary Square and onto the recently opened new public space, Lewis Cubitt Square.
