Mummies for Mummies* at the British Museum

(*and Daddies and Carers…)

Calling all culture vultures – the British Museum is holding a special preview of its latest exhibition just for parents/carers and their children. On Tuesday 9 September between 10am and 12pm, the Ancient Lives, New Discoveries exhibition, featuring eight mummies from ancient Egypt and Sudan, will be open exclusively to parents and carers and their children.

As well as being able to enjoy the exhibition without having to worry about shushing your children, you’ll be able to hear from the Exhibition Curator who will introduce you to the intriguing stories of the mummies. We’re planning to be there – look out for our review after the event.

Tickets cost £10 (under 16s free), including a complimentary tea or coffee. Baby changing, feeding rooms and buggy park are available. Click here for more details
