Messy goes to…Brixton Village (Okido exhibition)

If, like us, you’re big fans of Okido magazine and avid viewers of their recent CBeebies show, head down to Brixton Village over half term. Studio 73 gallery is hosting an exhibition of Okido illustrations by founding artist Rachel Ortas. It’s only a tiny space, but worth a look if you’re in the area. You can buy one of the brightly coloured screen prints, or simply pick up a Messy Monster activity postcard to cut out, glue and hang up at home.

Studio 73 is located in Brixton Village market, which is now a foodie hotspot due to its fabulous array of street food eateries. We recommend heading there for lunch after a Toddler Time, Big Scream or Kids’ Club screening at the neighbouring family-friendly Ritzy Picturehouse.

Okido exhibition open from 11am to 5.30pm Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm to 4.30pm Sunday until 21 February 2016. More details here
