Cineworld Movies for Juniors – Amazing Value Holiday Activity

If the prospect of spending a fortune on activities during the holidays is a concern, here’s our top tip for a budget day out.

Cineworld Cinemas runs a kids’ club called Movies for Juniors in the morning at the weekend and in the school holidays. Tickets cost a mere £1.75 (10% saving online) each, which we think must be the best value in London. The downside is that the films don’t tend to be the latest releases (this Easter they are showing 2014’s Penguins of Madagascar and Paddington for example) – but if you missed them first time around, it’s a fantastic, cheap day out for young children.

We went to see Frozen in the Christmas Holidays and have recently seen How to Train Your Dragon 2 and the aforementioned Penguins film. We’ve always gone to the Cineworld at the O2 in Greenwich. You can choose your seats if you book online and you can take in pushchairs, which makes it that bit easier if you have smaller children (or more than one child). The changing facilities are good and there is free parking (4 hours) in car parks 2 and 4 if you show your cinema tickets at the parking office.

And whilst you are there, why not take a trip on the Emirates Airline Cable Car
