We all know that trying to entertain a baby on a plane, train or even during a meal out can be a challenge. It’s great to have some small toys and books in your changing bag, but sometimes you need to travel light, or your baby gets bored of the same old distractions. It’s at times like these that, like many parents, I’ve resorted to using iPhone apps to keep MJ entertained. We downloaded some great free ones from Fisher-Price when he was quite small (on the recommendation of a friend) and he has continued to enjoy watching and interacting with them over time.

Diana Memorial Playground (Kensington Gardens)

Thanks to the lovely warm weather this week, we set off on our first outdoor trip of the year – to Kensington Gardens and the Diana Memorial Playground.  The free playground, open to under 12s, is located in the North West corner of Kensington Gardens close to the Orme Square and Black Lion Gates, and only a short walk from Kensington Palace.
