A pramtastic day out, and all for a good cause – Silver Cross Pramathon 2013

Posted on Tuesday, 19 March, 2013 in News | 0 comments

It might seem a bit early to start planning summer day trips, but here’s a summer event that is worth making an exception for.  On 23 June 2013, the Genesis Research Trust is hosting an exciting family day out raising money for a worthwhile cause.

Pramathon

Set in the parkland of Marble Hill House in Twickenham, hundreds of families are expected to take part in a sponsored 5km pram push. Don’t worry it’s not a race, so there’s no need to get in training – it’s a scenic walk that the whole family can join at a pace that suits you. Little ones are even encouraged to push their favourite toy around the route in their toy pram if they want to.

Here’s part three on the ever popular topic of pushchairs.

Vauxhall City Farm

Vauxhall City Farm has been on our “to do” list for a while and today we finally made it.  What did we discover? This small but perfectly formed city farm, which was built on unused land by local residents more than 35 years ago, has lots to offer visitors young and old.
